MONSTERA

$400.00

MONSTERA  |  25 1/2" x 21 1/2" x 2" acrylic, acrylic ink, pencil and sand on gallery profile splined canvas framed in light birch floating frame.

By artist collaborative SEEKUS. An exploration of the intersection of the analog and the digital space. Text was generated by a large language model from prompts submitted by individuals. Sand from Malibu and Venice Beach.

Artificial intelligence was asked, "Will computers or plants become self-aware first?"

It’s currently unclear whether computers or plants will become self aware first, if at all. The development of consciousness and self awareness is a complex and poorly understood phenomenon that may involve factors beyond our current understanding. Further research and exploration in neuroscience, a.i., and plant biology are needed to shed light.

SEEKUS is a collaborative effort between me and my brother, Sam Lopata.

This piece is currently up at Mint Salon & Spa in San Luis Obispo.

Packing and shipping fee $150 | $30 local delivery from Paso Robles to San Luis Obispo.
